So there doesn't appear to be a strict rule that the memes have to be about actual historical events. I'm hoping mythology can be acceptable.

So… what you’re saying is some fan fiction of Aphrodite is totally cool as long as it was written by some Percy old Greek dude?

I've read Classical poetry, sometimes it's not much more than that. So, yes! :p

Sometimes it’s more explicit.

Interesting bit for you, Narcissus is also the name for the lily: for it looks down at its reflection in the water, and indeed the mythology states that Narcissus became the lilies by being entranced by his own reflection and taking root at the border of the pond, but this might not make sense to a lot of modern audiences because sometime in the last century humans cultivated lilies to face upwards, colloquially referred to as stargazers.

Also, the scientific name for Water Lily which floats on the pond water is Nymphaeales.

I've thought, more than once, over this Epstein thing's revelation that stories about demigods that you need to be extremely careful with might be more culturally relevant than the dominant mythology of an individual savior type.

Like years of one type of story might equip kids better to deal with unsavory predators. Even vampires and werewolves seem like they would be more helpful.

Kind of an odd thought process, in the midst of coffee.

i think all religions carry some form of wisdom in them tbh. i think the problem lies with when you start acting like there is one true, valid, religion, and all others are a threat to yours.

I think there might be a lot of depth to your coffee thought ... it makes perfect sense to me
