How much time until the US does false flags on it's people and then blaming it on "Hamas terror"? kinda like what they planned to do to tank Cuba's and Castro's reputation in the old days.

Typical leftist meme. Completely true but extremely wordy.

[–] [email protected] 28 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Wordy, but I think that's part of why it's funny. "The Al-Aqsa flood was a mistake" is such a myopic, banal statement that you can drown it in counterpoint.

If anyone complains about leftist memes being too ‘wordy’, just remember that they can’t read for shit.

"I want Palestinians to be free but I don't stand with Hamas!"

-- liberal who has never talked about Palestinians in their entire life.

The UN should start pushing for sanctions against Israel. This genocide needs to be stopped.

The US would never let anything through against their precious child.

I mean they could show that literally the entire world is allied against the US and Israel (probably UK and Ukraine too) and it wouldn't mean anything except a statement that we all know already.

The one thing I will give France credit for is their position on never using their veto powers.

Agree, unfortunately even the slightest most lib UN action gets constantly vetoed by the US, even when it has broad international support.

Out of curiosity, because I haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere:

Why is it called "Flood"?

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Hamas always names their operation stuff like "sword of Al Aqsa" etc.. the word they used was "طوفان" which isn't exactly flood, it means "water going over the level" which could be from storm or like a dam breaking, and it also can mean that their rage has reached over the level, and yes the story of Noah is called "طوفان نوح", it's also also mentioned a few other times in Islamic stories, like how Mose's Pharoah died and Qaron (or the earth ate him I don't remember), to add to that, floods are a natural disaster, the operation was natural to happen after everything.

So basically, Islamic and Arabic symbolism.

Thank you for the background context. From the implication of this label, the Hamas organized invasion was something that the Israel inflicted on themselves, and the Hamas only acted to save the Palestinians from planned starvation or other lethal living conditions that Israel had imposed on the Palestinains. The fact that Palestinians form a unified resistance against Israel despite their diverse ancestry, ethnicity, culture, language, and religion did prove that Israel had been commiting some serious human right violations to provoke the attacks.

A flood of resistance poured into occupied territory?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And there's no holding back a flood. It subsides when it wants to.

I reckon they're fans of Wu-Tang Clan. Sat in a tunnel nodding their heads to P.L.O. Style until someone says, 'What else you got? Stick on the 36 Chambers next.' So they did and one thing led to another till they're watching old martial arts films. 4 am in the morning they're browsing Bruce Lee interviews and when he says, 'Be like water, my friend'. Lightbulb moment💡

US operations are labelled, like, Operation Six Pack, Operation Bicep, Operation Leather Boot, Operation Four Wheel Drive, Operation Chainsaw. Grrr. They all are lost with time, or a deep enough puddle, a steep enough climb, or simply when they get to the bottom of the barrel of stolen fuel. Paper tigers know what they are.
