Hey everyone, we all love crosscode right?
Well the developers have released about a hour from the beginning of their next game. Alabaster Dawn. It looks beautiful, plays very nice. No idea if the story will be good but I'm liking the early bit anyways. Just thought I'd share since no one has posted about it yet.
How is it for others that have played it?
I enjoyed it. It's a small slice. But it feels like more of cross code with a new setting and slightly different combat, but mostly similar.
Not knowing quite what is going on continues in this game as it opens with a calamity that ends the world and a tutorial that teaches the basics while also adding some mystery to what's going on.
However I don't think this game is going to lean on the amnesiac untalking protagonist who doesn't know what's going on at all. More of a no one knows what's going on as they try to fix the world; might be a little simple but there are hints of more possibly brewing under the surface.
