As a fellow iOS user, Memmy is pretty sweet for a version 0.0 beta app.

This is exactly why I never pick iphones, because a good chunk of the time you miss out on all the niche things you can do on a smartphone.

It's nice that we can have all these choices for 3rd party clients that won't end up getting screwed over due to a central authority.

Been using sync (paid) for over 10 years, will instantly buy a Lemmy version

I dare say he'll be wanting to get out a functional app before implementing things like support for Kbin. Bjt it's worth requesting it as the more who, perhaps the more priority it will get.

What do we have to do to convince Christian Selig to make Apollo for Lemmy?

I mean sync had and iOS version so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Just waiting for Christian to announce he's rewriting Apollo....

Any idea if there's a chance that the app will be open-source?

Hey, maybe apollo releases the code some day and someone picks it up for lemmy/kbin, would be happy for the iPhone stans lol.

Meanwhile I‘m just using the Safari Shortcut on the Home Screen. Works just as good as an app. If you‘re in beta test mood you can check out MLEM. It’s available through the Test Flight App.

I need an Apollo alternative. Memmy app for iOS comes close though 😄

I always used RIF for reddit but I'll definitely give Sync a try if this actually ends up happening
