Probably more quiet. Autism is (as I see it and in my own experience) about overstimulation. Not being autistic would probably feel like things weren't as "loud" or attention grabby.
Less perpetual anxiety and I imagine a slower racing brain. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing life on an emulator with fast forward constantly on. Also existing outside your brain without this layer of abstraction. I feel so aware of constituent parts of reality and seeing things as a whole.
Less deeply effected by injustice or a lack of logic. Fewer instances of upsetting people by naturally adhering to more socially accepted ways of presenting thoughts and communicating.
Easier, less exhausting. Though I know neurotypicals have their own struggles.
I've noticed that most people don't hear the things I do
I'll make a comment about something I hear in the background and they will get confused. Did they not overhear that conversation or noise?
I think non-autistic people can just... Not listen to things. Like there's a noise and they're like "nah, I'm good" and filter it out.
Genuinely think question might be impossible to answer
basically normal life for me, without the stress and pressure of 24/7 masking.
sometimes I wonder who tf am I because I think all my personality was crafted by masking.
Just wait a few years
You'll start to question if you even have a personality or are just a NPC
already had a few existential crisis wondering if I'm a p-zombie.
just a human without consciousness or qualia.
As someone who is neurotypical a lot of the things I see brought up in mental illness communities are also commonly experienced by us. The difference being it doesnt feel world ending since we have decent coping mechanisms built in.
So to answet your question life would probably be less highs and less lows and more emotional stability. Probably easier in general.
lie all the time and be thirst for money and power /j
You'd just be average
In my experience Autistic people are either pretty successful or in a very bad place
Hey now, some of us are both
Would your body & your brain finally feel like compatible hardware & software?
wdym?
I've always imagined neurotypicals to have more of their senses working together in harmony. Less prone to brain overloading or de-syncing, you know?
Always envious to see people I know interacting with others so casually. "You mean you don't have to rehearse a script before talking to others?? You just go in raw??? No intense anxiety or anything??? That's bonkers.." That kind of thing. Lol
My life would be so boring and i curtainly would neither be the person i am today, nore have the same world views
Probably not that different. Were comparing what it feels to be us from the inside to what others seem like from the outside. It's just different kind of issues they're dealing with.
