Question, why do we owe them federation? They claim that they are being brigaded by lemmygrad and the hate posts are a false flag. To me, that sounds like they are not able to moderate properly, and are losing control of their instance. This is the exact reason defederation exists, so why not use it? They can always come back when they clean up their instance.

Thanks, tbh even if the admin doesn't defederate it'll be worth it just to have seen them this mad. Like rn they are claiming they are being brigaded and that the bigoted posts over there are some psyop by lemmygrad. I like when bad people have a bad time.

I've been checking in on their instance from time to time to make sure they aren't planning on raiding any of my communities. They've been pretty upset, they've mostly avoided mentioning me by name but the server admin blocked me to "save me from seeing their content". Thoughtful of them, I just don't want us to be federated with them because they are a pretty hateful instance and I don't think we should platform that kinda thing.
