There have also been suggestions that the government may require banks to pledge to protect the principle of freedom of expression or face having their licence to lend in Britain revoked.

If you have not done so already, switch to a credit union.

    Banks get overwhelming taxpayer support. They should be common carriers like utilities.

    Suck for the British, they need a back for every day life. Take away their access to Banking industry is basically taking away any possible of living a life from my understanding.
