I totally blocked from my memory the very brief period when holograms were a thing, and then no one ever spoke of them again. Even Tupac performed "live" via hologram iirc

Such a silly moment in time. Pretty remarkable though how accurately The Empire Strikes Back predicted holograms to look way back in 1980. Pretty much exactly how these things looked.

    Yeah, I think some corner of my brain I knew this was exactly the kind of thing that would make us go wtf after some time had passed.
