Surprising? No. Appalling? Yes.

The headline and subheader are a bit confusing. Also how can they be "bigger competitors" if they are in cahoots?

Sometimes I have to wonder if websites intentionally make things confusing so to understand thngs - you're forced to read a bit of the article, stay on the page, and ideally look at ads.
