They supposedly can be disabled in settings- but we all know that won't last. They're going full Microsoft Skype mode and it's only a matter of time.

I'm down to distributed social networks and irc.

I still need to backup and cleanse Reddit but I'm just old man declaring everything turned to shit, yelling at clouds nowadays it seems.
