Tankie has been used against anti-imperialist anarchists and demsocs for years, if they still haven't caught on to it it's unlikely they'll realize now.

We can hope, but it never did that before on a big scale, terms like "Stalinists" or "Tankies" are used by the western anarchists and ultras as a way to appeal to liberals and succdems that they are the "good" commies that respect the nonviolence, civility in discourse, marketplace of ideas and other white supremacy fairy tales, and not those "evil" commies that actually have any successes against the liberals and succdems.
Which predictably falls on deaf ears because neither libs nor succdems care in the slightest, even "good" commie is a commie and will get into the camp at next purge because the only thing that matters is the treat flow provided by imperialism.
