It's common for reactionaries to say stuff like that. For many of them, Jews are considered inferior but are believed to control the world. Trans people are statistically such a small minority that we don't matter, yet for them, it's an ideology so dangerous that it's seen as a craze that's corrupting all children in school. The thing about imagined enemies is that they dont exist, and fascists can make absurd claims about them.
lack of philosophical rigor and intellectual dishonesty allows you to bend concepts at a whim and make up stuff, so they used that to throw shit at every direction and coopt the maximum number of people. like you said with straw men that contradict one another.
The enemy is both weak and strong as always.
