Hi all,

I've been having a problem with my apple tv for the past few days. Certain apps basically don't work: Max has audio but no video and when I try to use Disney+ I get an HDCP issue error message. On AppleTV Plus or Hulu every now and then the video will cut out for a few seconds and then the "dolby vision" and "dolby audio" pop-up will appear and everything will go back to normal. Does anyone know how to fix these issues? My google-fu is failing me.

My apple tv is updated to tvOS 17.1 and is plugged directly into a LG B9 tv.

Run the cable test, I know disney+ is the most finicky about handshake issues. If you have a receiver and it supports a cable test, try that too. I found that most hdmi cables from amazon are not what they are labeled.
Go to Settings > Video and Audio and select Check HDMI Connection

Appreciate the tip but it passed the cable test. My hdmi cable is 2-3 years old but it was bought from monoprice not amazon and is "Ultra Slim Certified Premium High Speed HDMI Cable, 4K@60Hz, HDR, 18Gbps, 34AWG"
