Genuine question - why would they not support that banner? You can be rightfully critical of what Israel is doing in Gaza and still believe that innocent hostages deserve to return safely

I was curious too and clicked & translated the article, which is different from the one OP posted in the comments

... the foreign players who did not hold a sign for the return of the abductees, and the answer they received from everyone was the same: "We didn't know what was written on it."
