Apple TV remote not controlling volume (alien.top)

I’ve tried every single “fix” I can find on the internet and nothing is working. I’ve reset the remote, I’ve turned it off and on, turned the CEC off and on, and nothing has worked. Anyone else?

This is driving me nuts too. Nothing is working. The control via IR option is no longer showing on my Apple TV post the TV OS 17 update. Why fix something that wasn’t broken?!
