I was using a Nest Hello with HomeBridge that worked great but the Nest died. I did get four years out of the Nest though I would have purchased another but Google dropped the version I was using and the newer models are not the same. There are not many doorbells that work HomeKit natively. https://www.imore.com/best-homekit-video-doorbells If you are willing to go with HomeBrige, Home Assistant or a Starling Hub you have more options. permalink fedilink source parent [–] bradatlarge@alien.top [B] 1 point 2 years ago something is definitely fishy permalink fedilink source parent [–] sciencetaco@alien.top [B] 1 point 2 years ago The Logitech doorbell used to have a lot of problems with overheating in warm weather and losing connection. They fixed it with a firmware update last year I think. Mine has been rock solid. permalink fedilink source parent [–] SubjectTumbleweed@alien.top [B] 1 point 2 years ago I've had good luck with the Logitech doorbell - no problems, as some have had, with overheating. Besides the PIP alert on Apple TV, it will alert your iPhone with a video, or your Apple Watch with a still image. The only issue I've had is the still image on my watch is often taken before the person is actually in view of the camera. permalink fedilink source parent
