I lost my phone last night. Find My is activated. Phone is off. I activated lost mode, but it hasn’t been turned on.

It’s been 16 hours. I read somewhere the location only pings for 24 hours, is that accurate?

In a couple of weeks, you are going to get a message (most likely from China) asking you to remove the phone from your icloud. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you do that. NEVER
