Thoughts on turning off always on display? (alien.top)

I just got the new AW Ultra and the battery lasted me about a day and a half. Then Without meaning to I turned off the Always On and it’s been 12 hours since last full charge and it just hit 90%…. That’s such a relief.

I turn it off - quite frankly I don't need it always on and turning it off saves battery so while I have 2 factor reasoning

It's my lack of need for it that genuinely drives why I turn it off.

I appreciate apple giving the option though either way as I know many enjoy their AOD on
