Hi!

I just sold my Yamaha AV 5.1 setup since I wanted a more minimal setup for my living room. Now, I'd like to purchase a new sound system for my LG C1 + Apple TV.

Currently considering hooking up 2x Homepod Gen 2 as stereo pair (or even Gen 1 if you tell me that they'd do the job, I've seen some used ones at very good prices)

Are there any other good alternatives that provide seamless connectivity / good audio / minimal look & feel? Homepod owners, how's your experience been so far?

I listen to a lot of music, but also enjoy tv shows, movies, sports and games on my PS5.

Just about any powered pair of speakers will sound better than homepods or a soundbar. You could get a cheapo pair or something like SVS wireless prime or Kanto TUK. This would also use of a subwoofer if you should ever want one again.
