Seriously. Camera improvements are really not that enticing anymore, it feels really incremental each year. Whereas, battery life is something everyone would notice easily.

I charge my phone every night and would barely care about battery improvement. My phone has never died when I needed it (currently 14 pro, but same for all previous gen I’ve owned)
