Using Apple TV as a casual gaming device, mostly Apple Arcade (alien.top)

Hey folks -
I play a LOT of games on my iPhone 15, but I'm curious how the newest gen Apple TV would be for a couch option. Do any of you use this as a gaming device? Can you use a controller with it like you can on the iPhone?

I'd use it for our TV as well but I'm curious how the gaming experience is on it.

it's great for casual gaming, but not all arcade games are available on the apple tv. Monster Stories for example is only ios.

Some great racing and role playing games work well. We enjoy Sonic Racing and Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

I can see Apple Arcade on Apple TV as an alternative if somebody already owned an Apple TV, but I wouldn’t buy an Apple TV for gaming…
