I don't want to live on Mars, I want to die on Mars.
I want to make that journey.
You get one life, and going to space, nevermind Mars, is something that so few humans throughout history have ever done, I just don't understand people who would say no to that.
Like, you could get hit by a bus, or get in a car accident, or get cancer even without the space travel. It's not like you're guaranteed safety by living a boring life.
Ideally not on impact!
I want to live out my later years somewhere with low gravity (Orbit? Moon? Mars?) so I don't have to care about bad joints. I miiiight need to make a lot more money for that to happen in the next 40-50 years or so...
NGL, would be funny if Mars became the human equivalent of an elephant graveyard. You reach a certain age, and suddenly you're pining, not for the fjords, but for the red planet.
