Yeah, don't you know that you're supposed to file innumerable motions, continuances, and appeals, so that you never actually have to appear? Also, if you run for president, you can just do whatever you want.

    lawyers and doctors want thousands of dollars in payment

    Maybe that is because of this:

    in the times your life literally depends on it

    What are you gonna do, tell the doctor mid-heart-attack you don't want his services?

    Oh, but make sure you call your insurance ahead of time to make sure he's in network. And then shop around to make sure he's the lowest priced one, too- can't have your insurance spending too much on you, right?
