[–] bull@aussie.zone 25 points 2 years ago (1 child) Every few years I try Domino's again to make sure my avoidance of them is justified and every time I'm reminded how right I am. Before you think I'm just a pizza snob, I like and semi regularly get Pizza Hut. permalink fedilink source hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] GyozaPower@discuss.tchncs.de 8 points 2 years ago (2 children) Pizza hut is definitely better than Dominos, but at least in here (Spain), it's expensive as fuck, whereas Dominos is not that bad and it's much cheaper. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] Baku@aussie.zone [S] 13 points 2 years ago* (2 children) Domino's is dirt cheap here in Australia. Until last year, they were still doing large pizzas for $5 (which works out to something like 3 euros). They've gone up to $7 now, but that's still really cheap for a pizza that really isn't that bad permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] bull@aussie.zone 11 points 2 years ago* It's actually insulting that they're still allowed to call what they serve as a large pizza a large pizza. Then they had the balls to offer an "extra large" for more money which was the size they used to be. permalink fedilink source parent [–] roguetrick@kbin.social 3 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) By comparison though, they don't offer anything that big in the US for anything near as cheap as $7 AUD. permalink fedilink source parent [–] KuroiKaze@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago Pizza Hut in America is the absolute worst, Aussie Domino's level I'd guess. The thin crust is marginally better than their other stuff. permalink fedilink source parent
