▲ 2 ▼ Caddy seems to good to be true? I just set it up and it works perfect, straight out of the box (alien.top) submitted 2 years ago by Zestyclose_Car1088@alien.top [B] to c/main@selfhosted.forum 63 comments fedilink hide all child comments This seems too straightforward, what's the catch? Like how secure is it? Should I be turning it off (and disabling the port forwarding) when not using it? Do I need any additional security? Mainly just want to use it for Jellyfin Thanks

It’s particularly useful for TLS termination and automatic TLS certificate management. permalink fedilink source parent [–] Do_TheEvolution@alien.top [B] 0 points 2 years ago (1 child) It sits in charge of your ports 80/443 and decides to which webserver it sends traffic. If to your jellyfin, or your nextcloud, or your uptimekuma, or your vaultwarden or your mealie or your dashboard... unlike others it automaticly do https certificate for you and its config is really clean and readable which is nice. Heres how to set it up if you wanna try. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] sixstringnerd@alien.top [B] 1 point 2 years ago Cool!
