And of course that caused people to start the "bottles of beer thread". We got something like 2,000 or 3,000 into it before literal devs came into the thread and begged us to stop "you are breaking Reddit". That resulted in the thread being shut down and nesting limits implemented. What those limits are, I do not know. I just know at one time they didn't exist.
