I mean, I think we should probably treat it the same way we'd treat any site that has content like that. Defederate from it, obviously, and then report the site to your national authorities who handle sites with that material. I'm sure the FBI would love to know that site exists so they can have a nice chat with the operator.

With fediseer you can Endorse instances and then you can follow the blocks those instances do. So for example you endorse lemmy.world and literature.cafe and when either one of them adds an instance to their blocklist on fediseer they will also be blocked on your instance.

You can even follow those blocks just for certain tags. Let's say you don't want to follow for "inactive admins" but you do want to follow for "neo-nazis" and "CSAM".

It's pretty cool and the functionality keeps expanding. Before it was more like a ring of trust but the developers have really been listening to what the community wanted and there has been a ton of progress. It's created by @db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com and @rikudou@lemmings.world who added the gui and loads of extra features.
