Attempts at nuanced discussions about topics like the Ukraine war or Taiwan that don't immediately tow the state department line seem to always get dismantled by emotionally charged responses like that.

When I see remarks like this I ask myself, why should I care?

It always come off like an attempt to refuse critical thinking and fall back into a Marvel good vs. evil worldview.

like most credulous dipshits they love anecdotes that confirm their already received biases and hate data, which is why, in the unlikely case they even attempt to source anything, it's a twitter or facebook screenshot
