12 ounces in a Keurig.

5120 ounces in a 40 gallon hot water heater.

Around 427.

    Except you don’t need all 40 gallons at once.

    You only need to match the flow rate out of the shower head.

    It would still be a hell of a lot of Keurigs for a 10-minute shower.

    Personally, I brew a cup with a keurig, pour it on my head, brew another one, pour it... and keep going until all the soap is rinsed off.
