The tl;dr is that theres a lot more places like this around Ukraine. Most who are press ganged get throw into theses places where the "training" is basically torture and they're killed if they try to escape. Often they're handcuffed for transport and sometimes even in barracks. Then units will come in seeking replacements and pick out people like cattle, with the so-called "assault regiments" getting first picks, who then use them in suicidal attacks.
