The state of the internet and how people talk to each other there is so bad that I thought you were talking about changing the words you use to snark at people (since people use "NPC" as an insult, although I have seen a different meme saying how it's genuinely nice to be an NPC just worrying about what sandwich you'll have for lunch instead of having main character worries).
