“Crazy fringe people” is literally who Proton was marketed to. Mainstream audience is perfectly fine with Gmail, if they piss off the “fringe” they’re pissing off their main userbase.

Using their feedback website as intended is hardly abusing. They want to know why people are leaving. This tells them what to do to fix it.
