Here it is! The November bloomer mega! Once again for if people want to share the good things happening in their lives! It can be something big like international news that brightened your day, or something small like a cool bug you found.

Either way, if you need a place to escape the noise and boost your morale for a second, this is it!

The only rule is to keep the vibes chill!

SOOOOOOO I hear Lula won in Brazil, and that the French did some pretty fire protests (Get it? Because they set some things on fire but also I mean fire as in peak, cool, whatever the hip kids say. I am very funny.) Anyway, it's good. People are doing things. Things have been happening. Will these things amount to anything? Who knows, but at least people are getting pissed off enough to break the civility brainworms.

Anyway, relax and don't eat all my doribos or I'll kick you out. OK you can have some but don't do that thing where you lick them all so no one else can have them.

Thank you!! I'm doing my best and it feels absolutely worth it right now, so thank you for believing in me! meow-hug

lightbulb momentI was rewriting a scene from a side plot that ties into the main plot when I scrolled over a scene I thought was very emotionally intense while writing it. Short version: my protagnoist is talking to "the ghost" of her ex, and they had a really complicated relationship, but he asks her to finally let go. I was so captivated by what I wrote, I completely forgot about editing and reread the entire scene, then put down the draft and decided to do something else. My head wasn't in the game for rewriting or editing, so I figured I'll leave it be. Then I think a day or so later, I was doing something unrelated when it finally hit me: Letting go of that ghost isn't the first time I mention this emotional concept, and there were multiple scenes before and after that one that feature "letting go". The first few are very subtle, then they become more obvious until the point where I as the author actually acknowledge the elephant in the room and make it into the main purpose of the story. Smoothing that thing out to feel more natural is now the main purpose of the current editing process.

You know what? I let my lack of desire to continue editing into a judgement on a completed manuscript that I have. I was halfway through the process and there's no reason it has to stay that way if I don't want to. Maybe lightbulb moments are contagious. Thank you for sharing this with me.
