Can anyone overthrow Steam on PC? "As long as Valve is independent and not a publicly traded company," analyst says it looks impossible (www.gamesradar.com)

One of my favorite quotes about Epic (it may have been Tim Sweeney) was something like "people would rather pay for a game on Steam than get it for free on the Epic Store" and it's true. Hell even games I've got for free on Epic I've still purchased (probably on sale) on Steam.
