Mine is that the useState hook is an actual plague on the entire React ecosystem. Regardless of your opinions of React, if you wanna use something then use it right.
From a CS perspective, languages like Rust and Ada are much easier to learn than the stereotypical easy languages (i.e Python). You just have to think about what programming languages are, rather than "how to write program to do X" which is the typical approach.
