The description says: These develop into tiny little pomegranate fruits, which, while technically edible, have only a few small, sour seeds inside, so they're really best appreciated on the plant. I tried one pip last year and boy was it sour. I just assumed they were basically inedible based on that. I just left the fruit on the plant this year, but they’re really old now and some had spit open so I decided to check a pip again. It was tasty enough I grabbed all 3-4 fruits that had split. permalink fedilink source parent
