I am thinking about getting a Boneless Couch.

Has anyone tried them? Do they maintain their shape?

Mine has. Pretty good little couch actually, though not as soft as others. You could probably put additional cushions on top.

I'm glad your couch has maintained its shape. It figures that the foam isn't very soft. If it were too soft, it would break down more easily.
