Does anyone have a solution for a cheap remote KVM? All the solutions I've found are around $100 and I don't want to spend that much.

I might even settle for a portable KVM if it's really cheap.

I have a laptop and an Android tablet that I could repurpose, if that helps at all.

Exactly, and esp dev boards are super cheap which seemed like one of your goals
