... is Padme a human?

I think all bets are off because this happened in a galaxy far, far away.

After very light research, it seems like Star Wars humans are the same species, although apparently originally it was intended that Star Wars was a story being relayed, and the "humans" in the story are only humans as a way to better relay the story to humans. Kinda like the aliens from Three Body Problem (the show at least, never read the books).

I choose to believe this, because otherwise it's extremely unlikely that humanoids with identical features evolved both separately and independently, several galaxies away from each other with no interaction at all....Yet they look and behave the same.

It would also explain why Galactic Basic sounds identical to a mix of American and Transatlantic English. Star Wars is just a dramatized retelling of alien rebels standing up to their alien government, with the rebels being portrayed as English-speaking humans so that Westerners on planet Earth will sympathize with their cause.

I think Human is the most versatile subtype of life, as we have

    1. Built in water cooling (sweating)
    2. Built in heating (hair)
    3. Persistence hunting

Each planet is just one biome in Star Wars, but Earth has TONS of biomes

I think most life naturally evolved to become typical "Human"s

You reminded me of this False Knees comic (couldn't find it online so this is a photo of my physical comic book)

I think the Bene Gesserit still had to be impregnated. I'm not that deep into the lore but I doubt they could just will themselves into pregnancy.

I think Bene Gesserits could choose the gender of the baby (film cannon, haven't read the books unfortunately) but yes, they have to get the "seed" from someone
