I'm not vegan myself, but hexbear is very much a vegan friendly space. People aren't "scared of the thing that they're made of", but they also don't want to look at dead animals, and while I'm not on the same page, that isn't unfair. We wouldn't expect people to be able to post images of dead humans hanging from meathooks, either, and many of our comrades feel this is at best a degree of difference rather than kind.

Tl;dr: I do not believe that you don't see the problem, get over yourself. The vast majority of the internet is completely safe to post meat on - this is a tiny corner that isn't.
