Here's what makes this whole thing absurd

The ban in question was a 3-day ban from r/youll_be_banned which is a subreddit where getting banned is literally part of its punchline. You make a post, you get banned if the mods are in a bad mood, and that's just the joke

Why on earth would I try to circumvent such a short ban, from that subreddit of all subreddits?

Still, it doesn't change that I've been accused by the automated system, even for something that I did not do

Right after I got that message about the sitewide ban, I panicked and sent a half-baked appeal explaining that I had zero intent. Of course that appeal got rejected because I didn't explain the context above. You could tell from the wording itself that I was still experiencing the shock of it all

And, well there is a page allowing me to send my second appeal. I'm just scared of it getting rejected again somehow

I think in the meantime, I'm just gonna stop shouting into the void and reach out here to you guys, just to talk it over. It's been 11 days since the ban, and I've been a little depressed about it

Does anyone want to share their experiences?

Edit: Submitted my second appeal which says:

My 3-day ban was from r/youll_be_banned, where bans are part of the joke. I didn’t intentionally evade it. Please review the specific activity behind my permanent suspension; my first appeal lacked context.

Wish me luck, even if my luck is low. If they still don't hear it, oh well I guess

if its your original account its possible, but dont get your hopes up. admins are the only one that can lift it, and they ignore 99.99% of ban appeals. you are still susceptible to a secondary ban even if they lift, because the AI cant tell difference between a lifted ban that clears your record, and your past (pattern of getting banned)
