IMO there is no better bird than the black-capped chickadee. Small but mighty, adorable, smart, vigilant, and curious. They'll land on my shoulder and check me out, sing me song when I'm feeling down. When the other birds are away the chickadee is still ready to play. Winter or summer, spring or fall, the chickadee stand above all.
