Hey comrades.

Eight queer refugees in Gorom are still waiting for safety, stability and access to basic care. Recent support helped them buy food and cooking gas, offering some much-needed relief. Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared or boosted their story.

But their situation remains urgent. One sister injured in an earlier attack is still experiencing pain around her eye and difficulty seeing. Painkillers provide only temporary relief and she urgently needs proper medical care.

We’re still $2,865 short of our fundraising goal. Every donation, no matter the amount, can help provide safer accommodation, food, clean water, bedding, clothing, medical care, cooking essentials and support for David as he works to restart his bakery business.

If you can donate, please use the link in my profile today. Even a small contribution can help meet their immediate needs and bring them closer to safety.

If you can’t donate, please share this post, boost it, and send it directly to someone who may be able to help. You can also connect us with an organization that supports refugees, displaced people, or LGBTQ+ communities.

Eight people are still waiting for safety and stability. Please don’t let their situation disappear from view. Donate if you can, share if you can’t, and help us raise the remaining $2,865.

Together, we can help ensure they are not left behind.
