Welcome again to everybody. Make yourselves at home. In the time-honoured tradition of our group, here is the weekly discussion thread!

P.S. Update on those stability improvements/enhancements I mentioned in my previous weekly thread: they're finished. The matrix server uptime is now better. Suspiciously better, some might say. Anyway, enjoy the reliability >:3

Finance capital has created the epoch of monopolies, and monopolies introduce everywhere monopolist principles: the utilisation of “connections” for profitable transactions takes the place of competition on the open market. The most usual thing is to stipulate that part of the loan granted shall be spent on purchases in the creditor country, particularly on orders for war materials, or for ships, etc.

in my little pea brain i went "this sound like the IMF or those other guys" (no shit) and i think it's just cuz it will always surprise me that these bald guys can be so right all the time like everyone knows they're so right all the time but it just blows my little pea brain away. that's what he meant.... Have you tried leaving your annotations in the margins of the book? If you read some of Lenin's notes on Hegel, his notes are pretty similar to yours ("this sounds like the IMF" etc.). Reading a book like it's a dialogue is pretty good.

might be just fake stuff i read on social media but i remember someone talking about how stalin was so frequently writing in his margins and they would be any old thought he had ("rubbish", apparently underlining typos, "haha", and i mean. well. obviously actual analysis/synthesis of ideas) so yeah maybe that'll help me
