If you had said “no stop I’m not feeling it” and he said “ugh I’m close can I finish?”

I can't stop re-reading this, jesus fucking christ.

A woman says "No stop" and you don't immediately fucking stop? What the fuck?

    What the fuck?

The issue with the Cornell case is that anything she said no to was respected (at least from the documents I have seen)

Why did she keep having to say 'no' over and over again then?

They were different acts you do understand that consent is not an umbrella policy right?

It’s clear you have a fuzzy understanding of consent, I don’t need lessons from someone who wouldn’t stop sex when a partner says they want to stop.

Taking words out of context to feign moral outrage when you don’t have any logical paths left 🥱

Good thing nothing is really hidden on Lemmy and everyone can see your comment that prioritizes a man’s orgasm over his partner wanting sex to stop.

Its a hypothetical about consent in a discussion on consent. You could gender flip it and it would still be consent.

It would still be fucked up if a woman heard her partner ask to stop sex and she asked if she could keep going in order to cum.

Perfectly valid take. I agree with you. My point was not about the morality of it at all, it was about the consent part.

The request to keep going after someone has asked to stop sex being treated as normal or acceptable is something I cannot abide without pushing back.

Consent under coercion is not consent.

Sure you can say it’s not acceptable, it’s just not rape.

If we extrapolated every purchase you made would be a robbery. Every task you don’t like doing at work would be slavery. Every time you visit your in laws house but didn’t want to would be kidnapping. You’re equating things in a way that minimizes survivors experiences.

If you had said “no stop I’m not feeling it” and he said “ugh I’m close can I finish?” and you said “okay finish quick” then your consent would have been back being given.

This is coercion. You don't get to push back on someone saying "stop". That's fucked up.

Wait. You genuinely believe there are women somewhere who would consent to a conga line of unknown guys just having their way with them while passed out?

That is absolutely not a thing.

She wasn’t passed out? They were all doing ketamine off each other? She was standing around the room showing off her muscles? Do I believe there are women who consent to group sex? Absolutely.

At least some people here will stand on the facts and still say it was rape for whatever reason but when you have to make things up it kind of shows that you don’t have much faith in what you’re arguing for.
