The PS5 and the Xbox Series are nearly six years old, that’s the point where you’d expect sales to decline. The Switch 2 is past the initial launch window, and it’s yet to have any of the tentpole franchises release on it (new mainline 3D Zelda, 3D Mario, next gen Pokemon, Smash, Animal Crossing), so no surprise its sales are being a bit anemic.
