Good statement!

I'll add that if NYC DSA wants to impose party discipline on NYC YDSA, then NYC DSA should expect its own discipline from national.

    According to DSA structure, the NYC chapter should not even be able to influence the YDSA chapter, even if they are a branch of NYC DSA, only the other way around. I suspect the NYC chapter offered to help manage the YDSA funds, which is what put them in this position.

    I’ll add that if NYC DSA wants to impose party discipline on NYC YDSA, then NYC DSA should expect its own discipline from national.

    Take a gander over to the DSA forums to see just how "happy" NYC DSA is about discipline from National.
