I laminsted mine no one complained. Of course the laminate wears out to. Did you know you are allowed to get 10 replacements period. So if you lose our wear out 10 of those you stuck without getting anymore.

    I laminated mine years ago and still used it to get my Real ID. The dude looking it over said "that's fine" and waved me in. I had signed it when I was like 10 or something and the signature was absolutely nothing like what it is today. They were fine with that, too. Being white probably helped a lot.

    Today for the first time in using mine in 30 years a recruitment office turn mine away because they said they couldn't read the red numbers on the back of the card. I could my wife can. I think this person was just being dumb.

    You can still get another one after that, it just requires several more steps

    Really? What I read when was sending out for my son's lost card it claimed life time supply was 10. Nothing about what to do after that. I mean kept mine since in my possession at the age of 16 so going on 30 years now and know it was a second my mom lost my first one. And my son mom lost both our boys first cards so had to request replacements.
