The full performace also has some interesting stories from Wobble, who's been in the business for a long time and worked with other great people.

Does he tell the story where he tells John Lydon that he has a radio in his head?

Anyhow, P.I.L. with Jah Wobble is some of the most innovative punk-adjacent there is out there.

But more than that I'm a big fan of his solo stuff.

And what he did with Holger Czukay of Can.

Not familiar with that story, no.

Anyway, I have some cool classic post-punk coming up in the queue to post, you might want to keep an eye out — I'll mark the genre in the posts, as usual.

What got me into Jah Wobble definitely isn't post-punk. Or maybe it could be argued to be post post-punk, lol. I have meanwhile posted one or two of my own here, "check'em out!"

The story: He was pretty spaced out back then - in a way that is independent of drugs - and told John Lydon that he had a radio in his head. Not literally of course. Lydon wasn't impressed, answered something dismissive/derisive. A while later JW met Holger Czukay who answered "Yeah, me too!" So he felt understood.
