Do they believe USAID was funding game studios on the condition that they put in more gay and trans characters and make the all the female characters look at least 50% less fuckable? First it was Soros and Blackrock, now it's USAID

Hmm. Strange. I wonder if this is a part of a greater conspiracy to get libs to be more pro-USAID as a lot of them have started connecting the dots on it being used to cause harm in the world, and since they have a knee-jerk reaction to love anything the CHUDs hate, it'll be a nice and easy way to get them to blindly support propaganda without question.

Either that or this is a kind of backwash from that DOGE shit, where they tried to make it sound woke and gay so the CHUDs would approve of destroying all of US soft power, and it's just taken a while to trickle down to the average CHUD because everything is getting gutted.

I think it's just gamers being huge Elon dickriders and having constructed their own Qanon parallel universe where him and Trump are dismantling the woke deep state that's ruining games and comic book movies

Which is very funny since the only reason that stuff has any draw at all to anyone is because at some point a non-CHUD wrote a story for it and it turned out you can write stories beyond "big muscly guy punches other big muscly guy with lots of CGI"

I'm out of the loop- USAID gets used to do harm?

I assume theres indirect harms from the soft power the US gains and uses for imperialism, is there direct harm also?

I’m relatively uneducated on this topic but my understanding of the position against USAID has two main points.

It’s weaponized to keep countries dependent on aid open to us business and operations (for example when countries pushed back on sending troops to Iraq they would threatened with losing their aid, Yemen is a name that comes to mind but between the USAID cuts and the Yemeni civil war my phone googling isn’t helping me very much)

The other point (as I understand it) is that it can create dependency (sometimes tied to the conditions of the aid). Former leader of Burkina Faso, Thomas Sankara, spoke out about this a couple times:

Those who come with wheat, millet, corn or milk, they are not helping us. Those who really want to help us can give us ploughs, tractors, fertilizers, insecticides, watering cans, drills and dams. That is how we would define food aid.
